Pounce powders, available in 3 colours for the traditional method of design transfer for embroidery, prick and pounce. For that reason you may like to also think about purchasing a pricker for your ergonomic comfort.

Ground into a fine powder the pounce allows you to transfer a pattern in a very easily removable way so it can be drawn over in your preferred embroidery mark maker. White powder for drafting onto dark fabric, black for drafting onto pale fabrics and grey for when the black is too dark and potentially obvious or can be good on some patterned fabrics where there are light and dark areas (e.g. hounds tooth) as the grey will be visible on both.
