Learn how to make 4 styles of these delicately coloured summer flowers in this London Embroidery School online class. Using our accompanying kit, we will guide you through how to shape, realistically paint and construct these structural pieces. Kits include enough materials to make a total of about 8 stems of your flower choice and you will only need a couple of additional items from your craft supplies. (snips / scissors watercolour paints paint pallet paintbrush(s) wire cutters ruler pencil)

We talk in great detail about the wire bases and watercolour mixing, harnessing the bias and lay planning, followed with step by step instructions for a cornflower, poppy, sweet pea and viola. Ideal for use in bouquets, millinery, accessories and table settings to name but a few outcomes.

  1. Loved this class, great explanations as always. It’s something really different and the flowers are beautiful.

  2. Not really a classic “embroidery” class but it is really fun.
I am a very manual person and I enjoy making them. But I think that you can do it without having an art degree. The video and the kit are clear and simple to understand.
It is a mix of painting and little stitches.
This is the perfect gift for any nature lover or anyone who wants some eco-friendly fake flowers.

  3. It was great fun to make these flowers. Just wish I knew the millenary wire size so that I could purchase more to make more flowers.
