This two part class covers over 20 3D beading techniques to take your embroidery off the surface of the fabric and to a whole other level. As this class is at an intermediate level, it is for those who have previously done embroidery or beading, so you may already have some of the below equipment needed to complete the class:
- 8’’ or slightly larger Embroidery hoop– ideally self supporting seat or clamp frame but a regular will suffice if you prefer
- Wax
- Scissors
- Velvet board – or bead tray or mat
If you don’t have any of these items, then please find them in the specialist equipment section of our website.
Though you can use your own beads & sequins for these classes, the mini kit is available to purchase.

Looks like a very interesting piece to do but it must wait til I finish a few others first.
loved this, so many fantastic techniques
This one is one of my favorites. I love the colors and different textures.
It is the perfect class to learn textures and techniques with lace or beads.
This class is the perfect transition between embroidery and beading.
If your goal is to try tambour beading later, I will do the coral before just to gain some confidence with other elements than threads.
I highly recommend this class to everyone – it is better if you have some knowledge in embroidery and are creative.
I absolutely loved this kit and class. There were so many techniques I hadn’t done before and the finished piece is gorgeous! Having access to the classes was great, they are so clear and easy to follow.
I absolutely loved the course…enjoyed working it enormously. For me personally I liked being able to do it at my own speed and going back over it again as I wished. I marked it 4 as I was disappointed that there was no requirement list included
