When you get into a hobby, you inevitably end up with lots of lovely pieces that show off the things you have learned- but now what to do with them?
Over the years we have tried lots of different things to make use of our embroideries so here is the accessories edition for a little inspiration:
- Clear Phone Case Insert
Surreal Eye patch inserted into Clear case
Works great for free standing pieces like (shallow) patches or for a piece of fabric cut to the internal shape of your phone case. You can change up your phone case design on your own and carry your favourite embroidery around with you- works best with flattish embroideries.
- Eye Mask
Monogramming on satin night set
Makes for a lovely gift and works particularly well with appliquéd details or monograms. Try not to stitch the whole way through so that the inside of the eye mask is still smooth to use.
- Wedding Veil

A real statement way to include your craft in your big day. You may well need time on your side for this one but it is sure to be worth it in the end.

Whether it is adding patches to casual shopper or something more classy to your best going out bag, accessorising your bag with an embroidered charm or element is an easy way to use those more 3d techniques and styles. With the addition of a little hardware you can easily make use of your goodies.

Same goes for purses- you might want to finished the edge/ back of your embroidery first if you plan to patch it on her if you have enough fabric around then you can even make it integral to the purse itself.

A way to use your skills for a unique take on this traditional accessory. Play around with size and other elements such as dry flowers to create a considered looking finish.

- Hair Accessories
