Drumroll, please… Our July Student of the Month is Colette! She submitted a wonderful shadow work piece that she learned to create from our online class. It turned out stunningly! We asked Colette to share some information about herself. Here’s what she had to say:
As a teacher, I use embroidery to maintain my balance. Embroidery provides a wonderful opportunity for quality time and a mental reset. I came across your organization while looking for inspiration. I purchased the Silk Shading Course and the Shadow Work. Completing the shadow work was a beautiful experience, although initially, it felt daunting due to its delicate nature. However, I’m pleased with the result and thoroughly enjoyed the course. I am currently progressing through the silk shading course. The design caught my eye immediately, it’s stunning.
