During the Final Class of the Intermediate Tambour artwork we will first be building on the foundation skill of applying bugle beads. However this time, we will be using our previous experience to create a spray effect with the stitches.
Our final technique comes in two parts where we will lay down a wire edge for a sharp finish, covered over with satin stitch, using a wool thread for coverage and texture.
Finally we will combine our two layers of embroidery from the three classes into one artwork by presenting them in the presentation hoop included in the kit.
This class puts the focus on tension, stitch placement and direction to bring your stitching up in finish. This class series is aimed at an intermediate level, so experience of a beginners tambour class is highly recommended, such as our Tambour Online Classes, weather triptych.
