As you can probably see from our recent posts- we have been really looking forward to sharing our newest and possibly shiniest class yet- the Beaded Coral Online Class. This two part class covers over 20 3D beading techniques to take your embroidery off the surface of the fabric and to a whole other level. Using a combination of beads, sequins and embroidery cotton we will show you various combinations and approaches to these materials to manipulate them and create really interesting, eye catching effects.
As we will be using some specific materials, you will also need one of our Beaded Coral Class Mini Kits which includes all the materials you need to make your own glittering coral reef. As this class is at an intermediate level, it is those who have done some embroidery or beading so you may already have some of the below that you will need equipment while to complete the class:
–8’’ or slightly larger Embroidery hoop– ideally self supporting seat or clamp frame but a regular will suffice if you prefer
–Velvet board – or bead tray or mat
If you don’t have any of these items- find them in the specialist equipment section of our website.
The second part will be released next Friday 30th April which will complete the design.
