New Classes coming up in August

We have a whole host of brand new courses avaialble this August for you to try something different and take your stitching knowledge into a different technique. With various skill level classes available, there is something to suit anyone who fancies taking up the needle.

The ‘Introduction to Embroidery Class’ does what is says on the tin and is suitable for complete novices. Basic skills and stitches will be taught whilst working on the diver design above.

Friday 10th August 2018, 10am-4.30pm

In the ‘Stumpwork and Mixed Techniques Beginners Class’ 6 hour class you will learn a taster of stump work and appliqué with metal work highlights all neatly worked into the heart and scroll design.

Saturday August 11th, 10am-4:30pm

The ‘Jacobean Crewelwork Class’ focuses on this graphic heritage technique dating from the 17th Century but has a decidedly modern feel. Our lovely pelican class will cover a range of stitches in this classic style.

Sunday 19th August, 10-4.30pm
