On last Wednesday we had our DIY make your own gifts: Lace Jewellery class.
In this class the students work onto the freestanding pieces of lace, embroidering through the lace itself and learning how to work ‘invisibly’ so as not to upset the asthetic of the lace itself with the embroidery additions.
The students made a set of earrings, using a selection of beads and sequins to create a lovely personalised gift.
