Making “The Organza Rose” at our Fab New Class Venue The Corsham Street Café
What a fabulous way to christen our new embroidery class venue, The Corsham Street Café, with the first class of the new “Couture” Class series, The Organza Rose. We arrived at our new class location so excited to have such a fantastic roomy space to make some particularly beautiful couture roses.
Each eager student began immediately, all of them super keen. Nimble fingers stitched delicately sheer organza pieces by hand to form soft fluting petals. With each finished petal the rose began to form.
Talk was flying of adorning wedding dresses with roses and how many pieces and hours that would take, embellishing artworks with them and where to wear these fab new accessories. Some of the students to join us were studying tailoring, practicing artists and those with jobs in other fields who were exploring their creative sides.
There will be more “Couture” classes to follow in this series. Book into one now as they are filling up fast and stay tuned to see the glamorous results!
